Under the World Bank-funded Environment Department, the Department of Environment is calling for real Bangladeshi citizens to be directly recruited for the following positions on a temporary basis (for project duration only) under a project called “Clean Air and Sustainable Environment”:

Senior Co-ordinator:

Must have relevant work experience with the educational qualifications mentioned in MSc (Atmospheric Science / Environmental Science / or Environment / Chemical Engineering) from a recognized University.

Co-ordinator:

Must have 5 (five) years of professional qualification and practical experience in Enforcement related to emission control of fixed and current source including MSc (Atmospheric / Physical / Environmental Science or Environment / Mechanical / Civil Engineering or equivalent) from a recognized University.

Scientific Officer:

Bachelor’s Degree in Atmosphere / Environment / Physics / Science or equivalent with a minimum of five (five) years of professional experience in MSc (Atmosphere / Environment / Physics / Science or equivalent) or from a recognized University. Must have experience in quality assurance/quality control program in air pollution laboratory. Must have practical experience in computer analysis of airman monitoring data.

Assistant Programmer:

MSc (physical/science computer science) or a bachelor’s degree in engineering from a recognized university. Must have 5 (five) years of experience in air data analysis. Must have practical experience in computer analysis of airman monitoring data.

Technician:

Graduate in science or pass HSC (Science Department) with 4 (four) years of practical experience in managing air quality monitoring equipment. Preference will give to candidates with experience in operating air quality monitoring equipment.

Terms and Condition:

Addressing the applicant to the Secretary, Ministry of Environment and Forests. Bangladesh Secretariat, Dhaka (Building No-06, Room No-1306, Ministry of Environment and Forests, Bangladesh Secretariat, Dhaka-1100). Have to send in. No application will be accepted after the stipulated time.

On the other hand, candidates working in government / semi-government / autonomous bodies can apply through their own authority.

The name of the project and the name of the candidate should mention on the envelope. The current address mentioned by the candidate will contact.

In accordance with the terms and conditions of the project’s recruitment, the prescribed candidates will temporarily appoint.

At the end of the project term, the tenure will automatically end. No notice will give for this.

Even, the authority may cancel the notification without showing any reason.

No TA / DA will be provided for the selective examination/interview.
